- Wat Prayoon
- One of Bangkok's quirkier temples on the opposite bank of the Chaophraya River. Its main feature is an unusual mound surrounded by a large pool full of turtles.
- Kuan Ou Shrine
- This small Chinese shrine is nonetheless highly visible from the river. Behind the rather modern three-storey building you see from the river is a much older shrine.
- Princess Mother Memorial Park
- This small but beautiful park also houses a museum about the late Princess Mother.
- Wat Anongkharam
- The temple is rather run-down, but still home to a school once attended by the Princess Mother.
- Wat Pichai Yathikharam
- The three prangs at the back of this temple can be seen from the river. In front of the prangs is a large Chinese-style ubosot flanked by two chedis.
