Follow the green line to get from the Memorial Bridge Pier to the Princess Mother Memorial Park.
Wat Prayoon
One of Bangkok's quirkier temples on the opposite bank of the Chaophraya River. Its main feature is an unusual mound surrounded by a large pool full of turtles.
Kuan Ou Shrine
This small Chinese shrine is nonetheless highly visible from the river. Behind the rather modern three-storey building you see from the river is a much older shrine.
Princess Mother Memorial Park
This small but beautiful park also houses a museum about the late Princess Mother.
Wat Anongkharam
The temple is rather run-down, but still home to a school once attended by the Princess Mother.
Wat Pichai Yathikharam
The three prangs at the back of this temple can be seen from the river. In front of the prangs is a large Chinese-style ubosot flanked by two chedis.
