Chiang Rai Photo Galleries
Here at ThailandForVisitors.com we maintain an expanding set of galleries consisting of all-digital photographs from around Asia. The list below are those available for the Chiang Rai province.
Chiang Rai Town
- Wat Klang Wiang
- Its not in any current guidebooks to Chiang Rai, but the temple of Klang Wiang is, we think, worth a look.

- Wat Ngam Muang
- Between Doi Tong and Wat Phra Kaeo is the temple of Wat Ngam Muang. The temple's name means 'beautiful city' in Thai.
- Wat Phra Kaeo

- Just outside of the town's market area is Wat Phra Singh. The temple was built in the 14th century, about 100 years after the city's founding.
- Wat Phrathat Doi Tong
- Up on a hill at the northwest corner of town is the old temple of Wat Phrathat Doi Tong.
Chiang Saen

- Wat Chedi Luang, next to the National Museum, was once Chiang Saen's main temple.
- Wat Phrathat Chom Kitti
- At the top of a hill a short distance from the northwest corner of Chiang Saen is the temple of Wat Phrathat Chom Kitti.
