Wat Phra Si Iriyabot
Wat Phra Si Iriyabot is the next large temple you'll come to north of Wat Phra Non. It's a bit different that many of the other temples in the Aranyik forest area. Firstly, instead of a large bell-shaped pagoda, there was a large square-shaped structure at the back of the main hall. On each side of a massive central pillar was a Buddha image in a different position. There is one seated in the more common pose, one standing, one walking and one reclining. Only the standing image is still largely intact, and that is the other unique thing about this temple. The image here is one of the few well-preserved Buddha images in the forest temple area.
The motif of four different poses is similar to one found at Wat Chetuphon in Sukhothai. It's a very unusual feature that I've only seen in these two temples. The temple probably dates from the fifteenth or sixteenth centuries.
