Samui Gay / Lesbian
The gay scene on Samui is relatively new. However, like the rest of the island, development has been rather speedy. There are a number of gay-owned businesses on the island to cater to your needs. There are a few 'commercial' establishments in Chaweng as well, but not many compared to the other major tourist destinations. Check out the links before for up to date information on gay owned and gay friendly businesses on the island.

Those interested in a little adventure while on Samui should pay a visit to Rainbow Scuba. This full service dive shop can arrange trips for experienced divers or even teach you how to dive so that you can see the best of Samui's scenery. It's where I learned to dive. You can read about my experiences in my travel journal. Rainbow also organizes tours for non-divers, such as to the idyllic little island of Koh Taen.
If you've been "playing" a bit too hard, have the nice people at Fah Samui rub your cares away with a traditional Thai massage or herbal treatment.
